Fire Island needs your help! 

Every fall, thousands of monarch butterflies descend on Fire Island, but these beautiful creatures are in danger. Only one thing can save them: milkweed. This beautiful flowering plant is crucial to the monarch’s life cycle. Without milkweed, there are no monarchs. 

This summer, BOFFO is collaborating with artist TM Davy and Gay Gardens to bring 200+ milkweed plants to Fire Island. A portion of the plants will be donated to the community and planted in public spaces. 

Three types of milkweed plants will be available for purchase: Butterfly, Common, and Red milkweed. Pre-order today, then pick up your plants on Saturday June 28th in the Pines harbor.
